Event Details

What kind of event is this? At the Fuji Shibazakura Festival, you can expect to see one of the largest displays of moss phlox in the Tokyo metropolitan area, with around 500,000 blooms covering the vast grounds at the base of Mount Fuji. The vivid contrast of colors creates a stunning spring landscape, making it a seasonal highlight that beautifully complements the iconic mountain.
Now in its 19th year, this year's theme is "A Special Seat of Spring". You'll be immersed in a breathtaking panorama of pink floral carpets stretching as far as the eye can see, set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Fuji and enjoyed in the area's crisp, clear air.
The festival features six unique varieties of moss phlox, coming together to create a one-of-a-kind scenic view of Mount Fuji framed by vibrant shades of pink - a truly unforgettable spring experience in Japan.
Where is it held? It will be held at Fujikawaguchiko in Yamanashi Prefecture, which is approximately 3 hours away by train from central Tokyo.
Is it held indoors or outdoors? It will be held outdoors.
How long does it take? Approximately 60 minutes.
How early should I arrive before the start time? You may arrive at anytime during the operating hours.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase? Food and drinks are available for purchase.
Is there parking available? There is paid parking available.
Will there be additional dates in the future? There are no additional dates, but the Rainbow Flower Festival is scheduled to be held from the end of August to October. *The Fuji Shibazakura Festival is also scheduled to be held at the same time in subsequent years.

Is this a VR experience? No, it is not a VR (Virtual Reality) experience.

Where can I buy tickets? Tickets can be purchased via the Fever app ( Google Play and Apple Store ), the Fever website , and the Fuji Motosuko website .
Are tickets available at the door? Tickets will be sold at the venue on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased via the Fever app, the Fever website , or the Fuji Motosuko website.
Can I transfer tickets purchased on Fever to someone else? Click "Transfer Ticket" on the ticket page within the Fever app. If you have any questions, please contact us . Be sure to include your ticket order number when contacting us.
Do I need to print tickets purchased through Fever? No printing is required. You can view your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app. (Available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play) When viewing your ticket in the app, please ensure you are logged in using the same login method used at the time of purchase.
Additionally, a QR code is included in your purchase confirmation email. We recommend taking a screenshot of this QR code.
If you do not have a smartphone, please bring a printed ticket or your QR code.
If you have a paper ticket, please remember to bring it with you.
I can't find my ticket purchased through Fever. Where can I check it? Access

Can I bring animals or service dogs? You may take your dog out of the cart or cage only when using the photo spot or dog run.
Dogs are allowed on a leash on weekdays. *Excluding peak season (April 25th to May 6th).
*When the park is crowded, you may be required to use a cart or cage. We do not provide cages or other rental equipment. Please prepare it yourself.
Only small to medium-sized dogs with a height of 50 cm or less are allowed to enter the park.
Can visually or hearing impaired individuals participate? Yes, individuals with hearing or visual impairments can participate.
Are strobe lights used? No strobe lights will be used.
Are restrooms available? Restrooms are available.
Is photography or video recording permitted? Please note that photography and video recording at the venue is allowed.
What should I do if I forgot something? Items that are found and delivered to the office will be kept as lost property for one month.
Please contact the Fuji Shibazakura Office at 0555-89-3031 (9:00 - 16:00). You will be asked to provide details of the lost item when you inquire.
Is there a luggage storage service? There are 24 paid coin lockers (500 yen each) installed in the group parking area.
